Previous Minutes: Dale motioned last month’s minutes be approved. Louis seconded.
Treasurer’s Report: Heather provided treasure’s report
Committee and Project Reports: Heather reported that total cheesecake sales were $9461. We paid $5244.60 to cheesecake company. That left a profit of $4216.40. Concessions made $1775.25. Expenses were $1135.41. Total profit was $639 which went to pay for dinner at Perkins. 10% of all profit went to the uniform fund. Check from DB competition has not cleared. $36 in returned checks. Discussion of different grant opportunities, parking cars for races. Deposit to hold bus tour due by January 10. It is approximately $630.
Old Business: Packet for trip ready to be sent out. Half of hotel bill due by 3/1/15. First deposit of $50 by Jan 23, second payment of $100 by Feb 20, final payment of $100 by Mar 13. Brandon will ensure that Carowinds is open date of trip. Discussion of Awards Ceremony and Banquet and fundraising. Pizza Inn fundraiser. Angel called during meeting. 2 weeks prior to date pick up tickets and fill out paper work. We get 100 tickets to begin with, then more possible. Angel motioned to do fundraiser. Brandon seconded. Michelle is going to head up Pizza Inn fundraiser. Indoor schedule is February 21 in Knoxville, March 7 at Sullivan South and March 14 in Knoxville. Brandon will email Dale with specifics. Brandon will tweak agenda for trip then Dale will post on the website. Awards Ceremony is May 7th at the school in the gym. Banquet is May 8th at the church. Ella to cater for us again. Decided to table 5K discussion until next month’s meeting.
New Business: Nominations for officers much be in by March so that Brandon can approve them. Dee, Brandy and Angel will not be officers. We discussed the nomination process. New officers take position at June meeting. We tabled discussion of concession stand issue until next month. Brandon will talk to Ms. Weems and Coach Buchanan. Discussed modifications to trailer. Shelving and design will add approximately 322lbs to trailer. Cost estimate is $220. Dale made the motion to modify trailer. Brandon seconded.
